2024 - 2025 RESET
Impact Report

I felt financially isolated, like I didn’t have the courage to share how challenging it really was for the fear of judgement. [RESET has] given me the ability to get my dignity back around my finances. It has helped me change my mindset from a surviving mindset to a thriving mindset.

- Gladys, 57, RESET Client

Real People. Real Results.

  • Mary, 66, was denied help with medical bills twice due to income issues. After a financial counseling session at the Financial Empowerment Center (FEC), Mary was referred to the Tennessee Justice Center (TJC) and they analyzed her income and helped her qualify and apply for a Medicare Savings Program. Now, Mary saves $250 a month on co-pays and medical expenses!

  • Fannie, 79, attended a RESET presentation and reached out for help stretching her monthly income. After a Benefits Checkup, she worked with a Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) counselor to review her income, spending, and unnecessary charges. By identifying unneeded services, Fannie saved over $70 a month.

  • "RESET enrollment and the direct referral link have greatly reduced stress and improved my ability to connect residents with essential resources. Working with the RESET team has been a true partnership, making both my residents and me feel valued, cared for, and confident in the support we receive." - Davidson County Local Property Manager

  • Anita, 82, reached out to FiftyForward for help with home repairs due to limited income and was referred to RESET for SNAP benefits. With assistance from FiftyForward's care manager, she applied for SNAP and received approval for $100 a month starting in September 2024.

  • "I went from drowning in referrals, paperwork, and emails, to finding a way to connect my residents and myself to much-needed resources." — Wendy, Davidson County Service Coordinator
