RESET News: Financial Awareness Month

February is Financial Awareness Month, and there is no better time than now to take control of your financial future. If you or someone you know is a Davidson County resident who is age 50+, we invite you to join us for a personal Benefits Checkup to see what benefits you may be eligible to receive. Our goal is simple: to connect you with programs and resources designed to lower your daily expenses and put money back in your pocket. You will work one-on-one with experts who will help you discover programs, trusted resources and complete applications that may lower your monthly expenses.
Location: Metro Action Commission, 1281 Murfreesboro Rd., Nashville, TN 37217.
Dates: Thursdays, 2/12, 3/12 and 4/19
Time: 11:00 am -1:00 pm
Taking the time to become financially aware when we are 50+ in age is a powerful step towards a future that is stronger, secure and happier.

Are you a faith-based community looking to support caregivers and older adults?
Eldercare Coach is partnering with faith communities in our efforts to support caregivers and older adults. In partnership with Engaging Communities out of the UTC School of Nursing, we can offer Eldercare Coach at no cost to a limited number of congregations in the Middle TN region.
What does a partnership between Eldercare Coach and a faith-based group look like? AgeWell's Eldercare Coach program offers personalized, expert guidance for family caregivers as well as helpful resources, support, and education. Eldercare Coach can provide your staff and members, both those who are on the caregiving journey and those approaching this role, with individual phone consultations with a master's level geriatric care professional. We also provide onsite or virtual education on topics related to eldercare (e.g., care options & paying for care), Alzheimer's/dementia, and self-care for caregivers. We share AgeWell's Directory of Services, along with our guidebooks -Aging & Caring: A Guide for Families and Preparing & Planning for Life's Final Chapter.
We are looking for faith-based communities and employers interested in exploring this partnership opportunity. If you would like to learn more, please reach out to Tiffany Mann at tcloud-mann@agewelltn.org or 615-353-4235.
Happy New Year from AgeWell to all of our Directory of Services current and past sponsors! We appreciate your support, and partnership, and that you see the value of the Directory. It truly is a gift to older adults and family caregivers in Middle TN, being a trusted one-stop shop for finding resources!
Each month you will receive an email reminding you of sponsorship opportunities for the next edition of the Directory of Services, 2027-2028. This next edition will be printed at the end of this year and distributed in January 2027. If you are planning to sponsor the Directory, please secure your spot by filling out the Commitment Form, below. The deadline for commitments, artwork, and a 50% down payment is October 1st, 2026.
