The Tennessee Coalition for Better Aging continues to work collectively to engage stakeholders across the state and provide recommendations to state and local leaders to improve home and community-based services, address our direct care workforce crisis, and increase support for family caregivers.
We invite you to join us on June 22 at 1 - 2:15 p.m. CT when the TN Coalition for Better Aging and Nashville Public Television will host an “Aging Matters: Reimagining Long-Term Care” virtual screening and panel discussion to look at the issues and opportunities in our state. Following the screening, there will be a virtual panel discussion, including Shawn Anfinson from Nashville Public Television, the program producer, Lance Iverson, a legislative research analyst in the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office to discuss key findings in their updated long-term care report, Amy Harris, a family caregiver, and AARP Tennessee State Director Mia McNeil.
