May 2024 Scam: Parking Ticket Scam Alert

Last month, the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) Fraud Unit cautioned the community to be on the lookout for counterfeit parking tickets in the Midtown Hills area. The bogus tickets are labeled "Metro Nashville Parking" and are placed on vehicles claiming that the vehicle is parked illegally and must pay a fine.

Anyone who may have fallen victim to this scam or sees a ticket like this on their vehicle should call 615-862-8600 and report it to a Fraud Unit detective.
